  • Beschreibung: <jats:p> The wall effect on the energy spectra of charge-exchange neutrals emitted from a high-temperature plasma is investigated using Monte Carlo calculations of transports of the neutrals, not only in the plasma but also in the wall. The results show that, in high- (low-) density plasma, the high- (low-) energy component of the spectra increases with backscattering from the wall surface. This variation is enhanced with the use of heavy materials for the wall. Furthermore, the ionization loss of the neutrals in the wall and the sputtering of the wall are discussed. </jats:p>
