  • Beschreibung: <jats:p>We show that genetic deficiency of the reactive oxygen species generating enzyme NADPH oxidase 4 (NOX4) impairs hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction in small (25–40 µm) intra‐acinar, but not pre‐acinar, arteries in murine precision cut lung slices. These data suggest an involvement of NOX4 in ventilation‐perfusion matching at the acinar level.</jats:p>
