  • Beschreibung:
Abstract
Some receptor proteins were isolated from the ovaries of Tenebrio molitor L. One had a molecular weight of 8 × 105 and an isoelectric point of 5.4. In the range of 1 ×
106 - 4 × 107 dalton JH-binding particles are existing with the same isoelectric point of 2.5. All proteins showed allosteric effects. Under the used conditions they are stable against heating and some enzymes, precipitable with 5% trichloro acetic acid and hydrolyzable with 1 ɴ HCl. The binding is specific and not displaceable with a great excess of substances with the same polarity.
