<jats:p>Resumo: O artigo busca apresentar e discutir a concepção pareysoniana de Deus como liberdade originária. Elaborada sob inspiração de Plotino e Schelling, ela pretende ser uma ousada interpretação "losó"ca da experiência religiosa cristã; mas, ao entender Deus ao mesmo tempo como início absoluto e escolha entre bem e mal, ela suscita inevitavelmente a questão: trata-se de hermenêutica da experiência religiosa cristã ou de mais um cristianismo metafísico?Abstract: This article seeks to present and discuss the Pareysonian conception of God as original liberty. Wrifen under the inspiration of Plotinus and Schelling, it intends to be a bold philosophical interpretation of the Christian religious experience; however, by understanding God both as an absolute beginning and a choice between good and evil, it inevitably raises the following question: does it advance a hermeneutics of the Christian religious experience or another form of metaphysical Christianity?</jats:p>
