Heuristisch-teratologischer Essay : das Werk von Dwight Mackintosh, der als geistig zurückgeblieben betrachtet wird, erscheint hier als Äußerung eines triebhaften Ursprungs im graphischen Schaffen. Es unterscheidet nicht zwischen Schreiben und Zeichnen, zwischen Raum und Linearität, zwischen graphischer Geste und Bedeutung. Als solches wirkt es wie eine Art vergrößertes Paradigma der handschriftlichen Phase der Literatur.
Saggio di teratologia euristica : l'opera di Dwight Mackintosh, ritenuto «mentalemente deficiente », viene considerata come la manifestazione delle origini pulsionali della creazione grafica. Oscillando tra lo scrivere e il disegnare, tra lo spaziole e il sequenziale, tra la gestualità grafica e il senso, dimostra di essere ancora il paradigma d'ingrandimento della fase maniscritta della letteratura.

An essay in heuristic teratology : the work of Dwight Mackintosh, considered to be «mentally retarded», is looked at as a manifestation of the subliminal origins of graphic creation. It has not yet reached the stage of distinguishing between writing and drawing, between the spatial and the sequential, between gestuality and meaning. It thus appears as the magnifying paradigm of the «manuscript» phase of writing.
Ensayo de teratología heurística : la obra de Dwight Mackintosh, considerado como «retardado mental», es enfocada como la manifestacíon de los orígenes pulsionales de la creación gráfica. Ésta no se decide aun entre la escritura y el dibujo, entre lo espacial y lo secuencial, entre la gestualidad gráfica y el sentido, apareciendo así como el paradigma ampliado de la fase manuscrita de la literatura.
