Pierre-Michel Menger : Mercado del trabajo artistico y socialización del riesgo. El caso de las artes del espectáculo. El principal sector del empleo artistico, el de las artes del espectáculo, ofrece varias caracteristicas notables respecte al análisis sociológico y económico de los mercados de trabajo. El análisis, centrado en el sistema del empleo que predomina el trabajo intermitente, es dirigido conforme a cuatro perspectivas : el estudio del riesgo tomado que constituye la elección de una carrera en las profesiones del espectáculo, cinema y audiovisual; el análisis de las organizaciones artísticas del sector y la búsqueda de flexibidad en la organización de la producción de obras siempre prototipicas; el examen de los lazos entre empleadores y empleados, y las condiciones de lealtad en el compromiso contractual ; la articulación empleo/desempleo y problema del equilibrio en el mercado de trabajo con subempleo.
Pierre-Michel Menger : The artist job market and risk socialization — concerning actors in particular. The main sector of artist employment, that of acting, has several outstanding characteristics when placed in the context of sociological and economic analysis of job markets. This analysis, based on the predominant system of employment that exists, in other words, intermittent work, is conducted according to four perspectives : a study on risk, which reaches a high level in the actors world (theatre, cinema, audiovisual...); analysis of the artist organizations in the particular sector and the analysis related to the seeking for flexibility in the organizing of the production of prototype works ; examination of the links between employers and employees and the loyalty involved in the contractual agreement ; coordination of employment and unemployment and the problem of finding the right balance in a market where there is underemployment.

Der hauptsächliche künstlerische Berufssektor, das heisst die Schaukünste, bietet mehrere bemerkenswerte Eigenschaften für die soziologische und wirtschaftliche Analyse der Arbeitsmärkte. Die Analyse, beschränkt auf das hauptsächliche Berufssystem, die Zeitarbeit, wird nach vier Perspektiven durchgefürt : die Untersuchung der Risikoannahme, die mit der Wahl einer Karriere auf Bühne, im Film, Radio oder Fernsehen verbunden ist; die Analyse der Künstlerorganisationen dieser Berufssparte und der Suche nach Flexibilität in der Produktionsorganisation von immer prototypischen Werken ; die Untersuchung der Verbindungen zwischen Arbeitsgebern, Arbeitsnehmern und der Loyalitätsbedingungen im gegenseitigen Vertrag ; die Wechselwirkung Arbeit/Arbeitslosigkeit und das Gleichgewichtsproblem in diesem Arbeitsmarkt mit Unterbeschäftigung.

L'analyse, centrée sur le système d'emploi qui prédomine, le travail intermittent, est conduite selon quatre perspectives : l'étude de la prise de risque que constitue le choix d'une carrière dans les professions du spectacle, du cinéma et de l'audiovisuel ; l'analyse des organisations artistiques du secteur et celle de la recherche de flexibilité dans l'organisation de la production d'œuvres toujours prototypiques ; l'examen des liens entre employeurs et employés et des conditions de la loyauté dans l'engagement contractuel ; l'articulation emploi/chômage et le problème de l'équilibre du marché du travail avec sous-emploi.
