PHILIPPE BONNIH The notion of "housing" in its economic and administrative definitions seems to be poorly adapted in representing the reality as it is lived daily by the families, and in the long-term : each dwelling is the fruit of a constant and reiterate production. These facts brought to the fore by qualitative methods, could be integrated to the quantitative inquiries. The article proposes to prop up this position by the results of an INSEE inquiry, being presently analysed, on "domestic production". The introduction proposes the construction of an interpretative frame which allows to exceed a simple sociometry, jointed to a reactualization of Û\cDomus concept. The examination of the initial results of the inquiry will permit the testing of this position and some of the derived hypothesis.
Résumé : La notion de "logement", dans ses définitions économiques et administratives, s'avère mal adaptée à représenter la réalité vécue quotidiennement par les familles, inscrite dans la durée : chaque habitation est le fruit d'une production permanente et réitérée. Ces faits, bien mis en évidence par des méthodes qualitatives, pourraient être intégrés aux enquêtes quantitatives. Cet article propose d'étayer cette position par les résultats d'une enquête de tlNSEE en cours d'analyse, sur la 'production domestique". L' introduction propose la construction d'un cadre interprétatif permettant de dépasser une simple sociométrie, articulé autour d'une réactualisation du concept de la Domus. L'examen des tous premiers résultats de l'enquête permet ensuite de tester cette position et quelques-unes des hypothèses qui en sont tirées.
