Ingela Johansson's painting confronts the beholder with a plethora of everyday objects. Reality has seeped into the visual space, not to stay but to be swathed in a poetic mist. The things appear to have broken away from the artist's control. They carry on with their own lives on the canvasses. The brush has delivered small, lyrical stories without a plot. Instead, they are rich with atmosphere
