<jats:p>THE NASA/Army XV‐15 Tilt‐Rotor Research Aircraft, with a sidestick controller installed, has been flown successfully with the aircraft's stability control system both operative and inoperative. The 9‐day flight evaluation took place at NASA's Ames Research Center, Mountain View, Calif.</jats:p>
